It's National Wine and Cheese day 🧀🍷

(in the US but frankly it should be an international thing!). To celebrate, here are Matthew Goode and James Purefoy enjoying cheese and wine in the Camargue sunshine after a hard day horse riding and rounding up cattle.

I love Matthew's ecstatic faces, he is in his happy place 😆. I am with him, cheese and wine are one of the best things in life!

There's something inherently delicious about two men; one with cheese, one with wine, learning from eachother and bonding over shit times and worse plane hours. I might use this. I might. And the possibility of a one bed room??

At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.

i headcanon that

(1) although alucard has a refined taste for food, he’s not a picky eater at all (which is a common trait of people who travel a lot) and

(2) he can go days without eating, the same way he can go days without sleeping when he’s traveling/in some sort of mission. WHEN he does, however,

(3) he eats A FUCKING LOT. way more than you’d expect from someone so aristocratic like him. as he doesn’t drink human blood, he has to replace the “nutrients” with normal food, and his metabolism is fast as fuck, hence his monster apetite.

(4) we’ve actually seen this in castlevania but he not only cooks very well, he learns recipes from the countries he visits. he even brings ingredients/spices he wouldn’t find easily back home.

in conclusion, i think too much about this blonde old princess sorry
